PENTAIR GRANULAR CARBON FILTERS
Pentair GAC Series
Utilising high quality granular carbon these Pentair GAC filters offer a lower pressure drop than their carbon block equivalents, whilst maintaining the high surface area required for optimal performance. The high surface area of these filter cartridges ensures exceptional adsorption of chlorine, VOC’s, THM’s, herbicides, pesticides and halogens – dramatically improving the taste, odour and appearance of drinking water. Featuring built in filter pads to prevent media migration, along with an integrated gasket to ensure a positive seal with your filter housing.
How Often Do I Need To Change These Pentair GAC Filters?
For domestic uses, we recommend changing these filters every 12 months. For industrial or commercial applications, refer to the relevant data sheets for chlorine removal capacity. All granular carbon filters should be flushed for a short period of time after installation. This is to remove any excess carbon fines that may migrate from the filter during the first use.
