Description

Reverse osmosis is commonly used to produce purified drinking water from either a mains or private water supply. By forcing water at pressure through a semi-permeable membrane, dissolved contaminants are removed and sent down the drain whilst the purified water flows straight to the tap. This RO system features 5 stages of filtration including sediment control, dual carbon pre-filtration, reverse osmosis stage and carbon post-filter to remove an extensive list of contaminants including chlorine, heavy metals, fluoride, sodium, nitrates, hormones, asbestos, lead, PFOS, arsenic and more.

This efficient and reliable system couldn’t be easier to maintain, with pre and post-filters all featuring push-fit connections which means no tools are required to change these filters. The RO membrane is easy to access and replace by simply unscrewing the membrane housing and replacing old for new. Thanks to the integrated booster pump, this RO system is a great option for customers with low water pressure, requiring just 1 Bar of feed pressure to operate.

How Often Do I Need To Replace The Filters In This 5 Stage Cabinet RO System?
In the home, the pre and post filters should be changed every 12 months, in a busy household or an office setting they should be changed every 6 months. The RO Membrane should be replaced every 2-3 years if you have soft water, or every 1-2 years if you have hard water.
