Our Polyphosphate Crystals are a food grade water treatment media used to treat hard water. Polyphosphate works by slowly dissolving into your water and coating hardness forming molecules like calcium to prevent them from sticking to surfaces and causing limescale. Suitable for drinking water systems, refillable filter cartridges and other solutions that use Polyphosphate for scale control – such as those used to protect combi-boilers or washing machines.

Description

Polyphosphate is a popular water treatment media thanks to its effectiveness at preventing limescale, corrosion and issues caused by iron and manganese. Commonly found in drinking water filters and single appliance scale prevention systems such as for dishwashers, washing machines and boilers. Over time the Polyphosphate crystals dissolve into the water, meaning they need to be replaced when depleted. Thankfully, many systems that use this media are refillable allowing customers to purchase the replacement media for top ups as and when required.

Our Polyphosphate media is supplied in crystal form and is suitable for use within a range of OEM systems such as Combimate or Fernox. For customers who are unsure of the quantity they require, please get in touch before placing your order or refer to the ‘specification’ tab for more information.
