Our TAC Water Filters use template assisted crystallisation (TAC) technology to treat hard water. They work by converting the limescale-forming elements such as calcium and magnesium into microscopic crystals that float freely through pipework without sticking to surfaces and causing limescale. Cartridges are available in all industry standard sizes, including 10” and 20” both regular and large diameters. The TAC media we use is independently tested, proving 99.6% efficiency using German DVGW protocol.

Product Features

Effectively treats hard water at 99.6% efficiency
Long cartridge lifespan of up to 3 years
Salt free alternative to water softening
WQA gold seal certified media

Choosing Product Size

Choose a size based on your available space and flow rate requirements. We stock these filter cartridges in all industry standard sizes including regular diameter (2.5″) and large diameter (4.5″) including both 10″ and 20″ lengths. Most standard filter housings are compatible with these filter cartridges, but can be purchased separately if required.

TAC WATER FILTERS

Effective Treatment For Hard Water

For many years ion exchange water softeners have been the only reliable option for treating hard water. Technological advances in water treatment have meant that TAC water filters are now readily available, offering customers an effective method of limescale control without salt, electricity or waste water. TAC is a unique process that does not remove the hardness minerals from your water, instead it converts them into microscopic crystals that float freely through pipework and heating elements without forming limescale. As no salt or chemicals are used during this process, your water retains all of its healthy minerals and is safe for drinking. This method of treating hard water also produces no waste water and requires no electricity, so is often regarded as one of the most environmentally friendly solutions for tackling hard water.

Industry Standard Filter Cartridges
Our TAC Water Filters are supplied as pre-filled filter cartridges to suit industry standard sized filter housings. Featuring a carefully measured amount of TAC media, filter pads to prevent media migration and an integrated gasket at the top of the cartridge for a positive seal with the filter housing.

How Long Do These TAC Water Filters Last?
Cartridges last up to 3 years for point of entry, or 1 year for point of use applications. Filter lifespan depends on water quality, with a sediment pre-filter recommended in areas prone to sediment build up (such as private water supplies).

Why Choose Our TAC Water Filters?

Suitable retrofit for OneFlow, Scale Klenze, AquaHouse
WRAS, NSF/ANSI 61 & WQA gold seal certified media

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. First time using this company and product and i wasnt dissappointed. Communication was easy and quick resulted in an easy order and now having fitted the filter i can say its a great product easy to install and appears good quality apart from the four mild steel bracket screws stainless would have been better considering the environment these are fitted. All in all, very pleased and would highly recommend .

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent local company and genuinely lovely people to deal with. Really helpful and knowledgeable, with great advice about my water softener and the correct salt to use. They even gave me some resin cleaner at no charge, which was a very kind gesture. Fantastic friendly service and I’ll definitely be returning for my salt in future. Highly recommended.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If you're thinking about a water softener then i HIGHLY recommend Ultra Soft Water Softeners Ltd.

Great softeners and exceptional customer service. The water softener I bought needed some adjustments with the installation setup where I supported throughout. The customer service is honestly next level. I had countless calls with Becky Gillett, the Sales Manager, over a period of months to get to the bottom of it. She was incredibly patient with me, staying on the phone and doing video calls to walk me through the programming instructions step-by-step while I changed the settings and ensured all was installed correctly.

All the staff here have been great, but Becky really stuck with me from start to finish to make sure it was sorted and working well. It runs like a dream now.

HIGHLY recommend them!
