Our Blue Filter Cartridge Housings are available to suit both regular and large diameter filter cartridges. Supplied as a kit with spanner, wall bracket and screws for easy installation these filter housings can be mounted to a wall or fixed together using a threaded nipple, to allow for multiple filtration stages. Opaque blue filter housings are commonly used over clear versions for the benefit of preventing UV exposure, making them an excellent choice for unchlorinated water supplies such as boreholes, wells and springs.

Description
These durable Blue Filter Cartridge Housings are manufactured from WRAS approved materials to NSF/ANSI 42 standards, ensuring they are safe for drinking water applications. Each housing features either a 2 piece or 3 piece design (depending on size), with a built in pressure relief valve in the head, either brass or plastic threaded ports and a secure locking ring with integrated o-ring to offer a superior seal between the head and the bowl. We supply a range of fittings and connectors compatible with these filter housings, allowing you to connect them together in series or convert the threaded ports to standard pipe sizes such as 15mm or 22mm.
Where Chlorine is not present the use of a blue filter housing as opposed to clear is recommended, because light exposure to filter cartridges can contribute to biological growth and biofilm formation.
