Our Blue Filter Cartridge Housings are available in both regular and large diameter variations. Supplied with spanner and wall bracket for installation, these filter housings can easily be fixed together using a threaded nipple to allow for multiple stages of filtration. Opaque blue filter housings are commonly used for carbon filters and on unchlorinated water supplies such as boreholes and springs because they prevent the inner cartridge from UV exposure. Where Chlorine is not present, exposure of filter cartridges to light can contribute to biological growth and biofilm formation in the housing and on the filter.

Description
These durable plastic filter housings are manufactured from WRAS approved materials, ensuring they are safe for drinking water applications. Each housing features a pressure relief valve in the head, strong threaded ports and secure locking ring to offer a leak free seal between the head and the bowl. We offer a range of fittings that are compatible with these housings, allowing you to connect them together in series or convert the threaded ports to standard pipe sizes such as 15mm. An integrated O-Ring sits between the head and bowl, creating a leak-free seal when tightened. Blue Filter Housings are widely used in filtration and water treatment as the blue finish signifies clean or drinking water.
