Our Juraperle Media is manufactured from naturally occurring calcium carbonate, which is WRAS approved for use with drinking water. The media is commonly used to increase or ‘correct’ the pH of water and is recommended for drinking water with a pH of 7 or below. Compatible with both refillable filter cartridges and water treatment vessels, or post RO to improve the mineral profile of the water.

Description
Juraperle is a popular low cost form of pH correction media that is widely used with private water supplies like boreholes and wells. Available in either 1kg or 25kg bags it can easily be refilled into an existing filter cartridge, or inside a vessel as part of a water treatment system. The naturally occurring calcium carbonate doses healthy minerals into your water, raising the pH to an acceptable level. UK drinking water regulations provide an acceptable pH range of 6.5 – 9.
How Often Do I Need To Replace Juraperle Media?
Juraperle media is designed to slowly dissolve into your water, when the media is almost depleted it should be replaced or topped up. How long this takes will depend on the current pH or your water.
