The Herco Compact Commercial RO System is a freestanding unit supplied pre-assembled on a stainless steel frame, suitable for wall mounting or fixing to the floor. Featuring an integrated high pressure pump, with a market-leading RO 524 controller that allows for fully automated system monitoring. Capable of high permeate flow rates up to 500 litres per hour, a recovery rate of 75-80% and a minimum rejection rate of 97% with your choice of a single or double 4040 membrane.

What Is Included

The Herco Compact Commercial RO system comes pre-assembled on a powder-coated stainless steel frame with everything you need to get started, including pre-filter, membrane(s), booster pump and market-leading RO 524 controller. You also get several useful accessories including pre-filter and pump pressure gauges, low pressure switch, inlet and outlet pressure gauages, solenoid inlet valve and flow meters for both the permeate and concentrate lines.

Installation Info

This system utilises DN10 flanges for both the permeate and concentrate connections, with DN20 for the feed water connection. The integrated booster pump and RO 524 control panel require access to a standard power supply close to where the unit will be installed. For feed water and usage parameters, please refer to the table below.

HERCO COMPACT COMMERCIAL RO SYSTEM

Herco UO 300/500 Series RO

The Herco Compact Commercial RO system is an excellent choice for high flow rate pure water and desalination applications, with a compact design that measures just 40cm wide, 124cm tall and 38cm deep. Available with either a single (300 litres per hour) or double 4040 membranes (500 litres per hour) the system boasts several advanced features including a low pressure switch, concentrate flow meters and RO 524 controller. The integrated control panel allows for fully automated monitoring of system performance, with permeate conductivity display and automatic concentrate flushing after each operating cycle or 24 hours of standby.

How Long Do The Filters Last?
The sediment pre-filter should be changed when the gauges show a differential pressure reading of 1.5 bar. The RO membrane should be replaced when you notice a drop in permeate production or water quality. With soft water, membranes can last up to 5 years however with extremely hard water and no pre-treatment, membrane lifespan can be reduced to 12 months or less.

Feed Water Parameters
To ensure optimal system performance the following feed water parameters should be met. As with all RO systems the permeate recovery and rejection figures depend on several factors such as feed water quality, temperature and the type of pre-treatment used. If your water hardness is over 100ppm a water softener should be used to prolong the life of the RO membrane.
