Our Herco Compact Commercial RO System is a freestanding unit suitable for wall mounting or fixing to the floor. The single 4040 membrane option offers permeate flow rates of up to 300 litres per hour, whilst the double 4040 membrane option offers increased permeate production of up to 500 litres per hour. High recovery rates between 75-80% mean less waste water and an average salt rejection figure of 97% make this pumped RO system excellent for a range of pure water production applications.

Description
These well constructed RO systems are supplied wired and pre-assembled on a stainless-steel frame, ready for installation. Featuring a 5 Micron sediment pre-filter, single or double 4040 membrane, high pressure rotary vane pump with low pressure switch, permeate and concentrate flow meters and RO 524 Controller. The control panel allows for fully automated monitoring of the system, with permeate conductivity display and automatic concentrate flushing after each operating cycle or 24 hours of standby. If you are feeding the system with chlorinated water then suitable carbon pre-treatment is recommended.
Suitable for a feed water TDS of up to 1000ppm and water temperatures of up to 35°C. As with all RO systems the permeate recovery and rejection figures depend on several factors such as feed water quality, temperature and the type of pre-treatment used. If your water hardness is over 100ppm it would be recommended to install a water softener prior to the system to prolong the life of the RO membranes.
How Often Do I Need To Replace The Filters In The Herco Compact Commercial RO System?
The sediment pre-filter should be changed when the gauges show a differential pressure reading of 1.5 bar. The RO membrane should be replaced when you notice a drop in permeate production or quality. With soft water, membranes can last up to 5 years however with extremely hard water (and no pre-treatment) membrane lifespan can be reduced to 12 months or less.
