Our Stainless Steel Bag Filter Housings are designed to meet the high flow demands of both commercial and industrial applications. Available in trade sizes 1 to 4 to suit flow rates up to 45,000 litres per hour, these free-standing bag housings are constructed from 316 Stainless Steel with a high quality electro-polished finish as standard. Designed with the operator in mind, each housing features a V-band clamp closure mechanism for the lid, an inlet pressure gauge, top mounted ball valve style pressure vent, perforated bag support basket and adjustable legs that can be bolted down for extra security.
All bag filter housings are supplied with an effective bag hold down device, which is compressed by the housing lid to ensure that bag filters seal positively inside the housing, helping to prevent filter bypass.

Description
Our Stainless Steel Bag Filter Housings are suitable for even the most challenging environments, with a design pressure of 10 Bar (7 Bar max. recommended operating pressure under SEP) and a temperature rating up to 150⁰C. The adjustable legs enable the housing to be raised or lowered as required for installation, with a 2” female BSP inlet at the top of the housing and 2” female BSP outlet at the base. A feed pressure gauge is supplied with each housing as standard, allowing the operator at-a-glance indication of the condition of the bag filter inside, when feed pressure has increased by 1-1.5 Bar this indicates that the bag filter needs replacing.
Bag filtration is popular across a number of different commercial and industrial applications, with the technology offering an economical solution for particulate removal at high flow rates. Commonly found in food and beverage, stone cutting, chemical production, textile dyeing, pre-commissioning and side stream applications.
Please note that we can also supply bag filter housings with swing bolt closure mechanism and/or RJT connections upon request.
