Bag filters offer an effective and economical way to control the sediment in your water, with high dirt holding capabilities meaning bag filters are often the go-to first stage of filtration. These filters sit neatly inside the support basket of the PBH housing, which helps to reinforce the bag and allows for high flow rates and impressive sediment loading capacity.

Description
By design bag filters have a large surface area, which allows for high flow rates and increased dirt holding capabilities. Offering a longer service life and increased time between filter changes than traditional cartridge or ‘candle’ filters. Commonly used in domestic applications including first-stage filtration for private water supplies as well as a range of commercial and industrial applications such as food and beverage, cosmetics and chemical production.
In process applications, it is common for bag filters to be used without a bag filter housing by simply suspending the bag filter over a tank and pouring liquid through or tying it around the neck of a pipe. Providing a cost effective filtration solution for small batch manufacturing, home brewing and bio-diesel production.
How Often Do I Need To Change These Pentek Bag Filters?
These filters should be replaced when visibly dirty or at a pressure differential of 1 bar.
