Our Pentek Bag Filters are designed for use with PBH-420 series 20″ bag filter housings. Suitable for high flow rates of up to 100 litres per minute, these bag filters offer excellent dirt-holding capabilities and a long service life, providing an economical solution for bulk sediment control in liquid applications. Available in 5 micron with several larger micron ratings available in our OEM equivalent range.

Choosing Bag Size

Choose a size to match your bag filter housing and micron rating based on requirements. The PBH-420 (20″) series bag filters are suitable for high flow rates up to 100 litres per minute. Pentek filter bags should only be used with Pentair Bag Filter Housings which are available to purchase separately.

PENTEK BAG FILTERS

Pentair PBH Series

Manufactured from polypropylene these Pentek filter bags offer excellent chemical compatibility with a range of liquids, whilst remaining suitable for drinking water applications. Their quality construction ensures performance at high flow rates, recommended for bulk sediment removal with a lower pressure drop than conventional ‘cartridge-style’ filters. Bag filters are commonly used in several industries including cosmetics and aquatics – along with private water supplies to catch large sediment before it passes through a water treatment system.

Please note that since Pentair has discontinued all 10″ (PBH-410) and many 20″ (PBH-420) bag filters from this range, we now offer a selection of non-OEM equivalents which can be found linked below.

How Often Do I Need To Change These Pentek Bag Filters?
These filters should be replaced when visibly dirty or at a pressure differential of 1 bar.

Communication was easy and quick resulted in an easy order and now having fitted the filter i can say its a great product easy to install and appears good quality apart from the four mild steel bracket screws stainless would have been better considering the environment these are fitted. Great softeners and exceptional customer service. The water softener I bought needed some adjustments with the installation setup where I supported throughout. The customer service is honestly next level. I had countless calls with Becky Gillett, the Sales Manager, over a period of months to get to the bottom of it. She was incredibly patient with me, staying on the phone and doing video calls to walk me through the programming instructions step-by-step while I changed the settings and ensured all was installed correctly.

All the staff here have been great, but Becky really stuck with me from start to finish to make sure it was sorted and working well. It runs like a dream now.
