Description
By design Polypropylene bag filters have a large surface area, which allows for high flow rates and increased dirt holding capabilities. Offering a longer service life and increased time between filter changes than traditional cartridge or ‘candle’ filters. Each bag is manufactured from 100% polypropylene, with heavy duty seams and a flanged polypropylene neck ring with handles to make filter change easier.
In process applications, it is common for bag filters to be used without a bag filter housing by simply suspending the bag filter over a tank and pouring liquid through or tying it around the neck of a pipe. Providing a cost effective filtration solution for small batch manufacturing, home brewing and bio-diesel production.

How Often Do I Need To Change These Polypropylene Bag Filters?
Bag filters should be changed at a differential pressure of 1 bar or when visibly dirty.
