Our Threaded Connector Nipples allow for the straight forward connection of two female threaded ports. As a straight connector the thread size and type are the same on both ends, which allows for the conversion of a female thread to male where required. Commonly used to connect two seperate filter housings, to facilitate multiple stages of filtration (such as sediment and carbon). All industry standard BSP thread sizes available including 1/2″ BSP, 3/4″ BSP & 1″ BSP.

Description
Threaded Connector Nipples are suitable for a wide range of water treatment uses, where two threads require a connection. As a plastic component, these fittings have excellent chemical compatibility and can be used with RO and de-ionised water as an alternative to metal for their anti-corrosion properties. For liquid applications, it is always recommended to apply PTFE tape to the threaded connections of the nipple to ensure a positive and leak-free seal.
Please note we also stock a range of reducing nipples to connect differing thread sizes (eg; 3/4″ x 1″ BSP)
