Description

If you’re in search of a rainwater harvesting or private water supply solution, look no further than our Rainwater Filter System. Supplied pre-assembled as a kit ready for installation with easy to adapt 3/4″ BSP female brass reinforced ports, high quality moulded head and food grade materials. This robust and reliable filter system can be used as a stand-alone system, or as part of a larger filtration cascade in conjunction with a UV system (for flow rates up to 2,500 litres per hour).

The Rainwater Filter System Comprises Of 3 Stages:

  1. 90 Micron Stainless Steel Mesh Filter: Featuring spring assembly and drain in base for easy cleaning without removal. Ideal for removing large debris like leaves and dirt.
  2. 25 Micron Wound Sediment Filter: Offering finer filtration down to 25 micron, removing silt, dirt and fine sediment. Improves filter lifespan and prevents UV shadowing.
  3. Carbon Block Filter: Removes organics, solvents, herbicides and other contaminants, whilst tackling unpleasant colours and odours that may be in the water.

How Often Do I Need To Change The Filters In The Rainwater Filter System?
It is recommended to clean the mesh filter when visibly dirty, using the built-in spring to flush the filter without removing it. If extremely fouled, the mesh filter should be removed from the housing and cleaned thoroughly. The wound sediment filter and carbon filter should be changed every 6-12 months depending on use.
