Our Inline pH Correction Filters are ideal for use either after a reverse osmosis system or for customers with low pH water. The naturally occurring Calcium Carbonate media slowly dissolves, dosing your water and increasing the pH in the process. This encapsulated inline cartridge does not require a filter housing and the 1/4” push fit connections make it convenient to install.

Description
Low pH water is acidic, meaning it can corrode pipework and leach metals like iron, manganese, cooper, zinc and lead. High levels of lead in drinking water are associated with low pH and linked to a whole host of health problems. These Inline pH Correction Filters are designed to tackle that issue and are commonly employed as a final stage to a reverse osmosis system where the water is being consumed. By remineralising your water with known minerals like calcium carbonate, you increase the pH of your water and in turn reduce its ability to corrode and carry metallic contaminants.
How Often Do I Need To Change These Inline pH Correction Filters?
These filters contain media that dissolves into the water, when the media is almost depleted the filter needs replacing. How long this takes will depend on the pH of your water. In a domestic setting this is usually every 6-9 months.
