High Temperature Wound Sediment Filters
£8.00 – £14.00
Our High Temperature Wound Sediment Filters are manufactured in the UK from WRAS approved 316 Stainless Steel and EC1935/2004 certified Cotton media. Designed as a high temperature alternative to our standard Polypropylene media versions, these filters deliver a solution for particulate reduction in applications with operating temperatures up to 121⁰C whilst maintaining excellent chemical compatibility with organic solvents. The use of high quality materials to produce these filters gives peace of mind when being used in potable drinking water applications. Available in a select range of micron ratings in both 10” and 20” lengths (suitable for regular diameter 2.5″ housings).
Why Choose Our High Temperature Wound Sediment Filters?

Description
These High Temperature Wound Sediment Filters are manufactured in the UK using the same technology as our standard range of Wound sediment Filters – whereby selected high quality yarns are wrapped around a central core. This creates multiple identical-sized passageways in the cartridge, throughout the depth of the media to maximise the particulate retention capacity of the filter and prevent surface blinding. The cotton media used in the construction of these filters is not only suitable for high temperatures but is also naturally absorptive, meaning they can retain dispersed oils which makes them popular for de-greasing applications.
Offering a solution for particulate or ‘turbidity’ reduction, with a low initial pressure drop (0.15 Bar or less), in even the most challenging of applications. Our High Temp Wound Sediment Filters are popular for LTHW side stream, organic solvents, electroplating and drinking water applications.
Please note 30” and 40” lengths and additional micron ratings from 1-100um are available upon request
How Often Do I Need To Change These High Temperature Wound Sediment Filters?
These filters should be changed approximately every 6-12 months, or when visibly dirty. In commercial and industrial applications, it is recommended to replace the filter when a pressure differential of 1.5 Bar is reached.
