Our Self Cleaning Mesh Filters offer an economical solution to remove sediment at high flow rates. Featuring a 90 micron stainless steel mesh filter to trap large particulate and a drain funnel in the base to flush the filter without needing to be removed. This ability to trap large particulate at high flow rates makes these a popular first-stage sediment filter, trapping larger particles before they pass through additional treatment stages. We offer these filters in two sizes, with the standard version suitable for flow rates up to 5,300 litres per hour and the high flow up to 15,000 litres per hour.

SELF CLEANING MESH FILTERS

90 Micron Stainless Steel Mesh

Utilising an innovative self-cleaning mechanism to reverse the flow path through the filter cartridge, these filters are an excellent choice for bulk sediment removal applications (such as rainwater harvesting and private water supplies). The cleaning mechanism allows built up particulate to be drained without removing the filter cartridge, operated by the drain valve in the base of the housing. Once saturated the 90 micron stainless steel mesh filter can be removed, washed and re-used multiple times – providing an economical and cost effective solution compared to most alternatives.

Available in two sizes the standard option features 3/4″ BSP female brass ports, with the larger high flow version featuring 1 1/2″ plastic BSP ports. Both sizes come with a barbed drain hose connector and drain funnel designed to prevent contamination from backflow (in compliance with UNI EN1717/2002).

How Often Do I Need To Clean These Self Cleaning Mesh Filters?
The clear filter housing allows for at-a-glance indication of the condition of the filter cartridge. You should activate the self-cleaning mechanism when you can visibly see particulate has built up on the outside of the filter cartridge. We recommend physically removing the filter cartridge and cleaning it once every 6-12 months for hygiene purposes.

Why Choose Our Self Cleaning Mesh Filters?

Female BSP threaded ports for an easy installation
Low cost solution for bulk sediment removal
Built in backwashing self cleaning mechanism
Washable and re-usable filter cartridge
High quality clear filter housing

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very pleased with the service. There was an issue with the water softener I ordered initially, but then following communications made the replacement process quite pleasant. Happily recommend this company. Thanks to Becky for working with me. Great follow up support 😊😊😊

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. First time using this company and product and i wasnt dissappointed. Communication was easy and quick resulted in an easy order and now having fitted the filter i can say its a great product easy to install and appears good quality apart from the four mild steel bracket screws stainless would have been better considering the environment these are fitted. All in all, very pleased and would highly recommend .

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent local company and genuinely lovely people to deal with. Really helpful and knowledgeable, with great advice about my water softener and the correct salt to use. They even gave me some resin cleaner at no charge, which was a very kind gesture. Fantastic friendly service and I’ll definitely be returning for my salt in future. Highly recommended.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If you're thinking about a water softener then i HIGHLY recommend Ultra Soft Water Softeners Ltd.

Great softeners and exceptional customer service. The water softener I bought needed some adjustments with the installation setup where I supported throughout. The customer service is honestly next level. I had countless calls with Becky Gillett, the Sales Manager, over a period of months to get to the bottom of it. She was incredibly patient with me, staying on the phone and doing video calls to walk me through the programming instructions step-by-step while I changed the settings and ensured all was installed correctly.

All the staff here have been great, but Becky really stuck with me from start to finish to make sure it was sorted and working well. It runs like a dream now.

HIGHLY recommend them!
