Choosing Product Size

We stock bag housings to suit all trade size 1-4 bag filters. Choose a size based on your required flow rate or preferred bag filter size. Upsizing beyond your expected flow rate can extend the life of the filter bag, reducing the frequency of filter changes. An overview of each bag filter trade size can be found below. For filter housing product dimensions please refer to the measurement table.

Trade Size 1: 430mm Length x 180mm Neck Diameter
Trade Size 2: 810mm Length x 180mm Neck Diameter
Trade Size 3: 230mm Length x 104mm Neck Diameter
Trade Size 4: 360mm Length x 104mm Neck Diameter

STAINLESS STEEL BAG FILTER HOUSINGS

Trade Size 1-4 Bag Filtration

Our Stainless Steel Bag Filter Housings are suitable for even the most challenging environments, with high temperature resistance of up to 150⁰C and a max pressure rating of 7 bar (design pressure 10 bar). The adjustable legs enable the housing to be raised or lowered as required for installation, with a 2” female BSP inlet at the top of the housing and a 2” female BSP outlet at the base. A feed pressure gauge is supplied with each housing as standard, allowing the operator an at-a-glance indication of the condition of the bag filter inside. Increases in feed pressure of 1 to 1.5 bar indicate the filter bag needs replacing.

Bag filtration is popular across many commercial and industrial applications, offering an economical solution for particulate removal at high flow rates compared to cartridge filters. Commonly found in food and beverage, stone cutting, chemical production, textile dyeing and pre-commissioning.

Why Choose Our Stainless Steel Bag Filter Housings?

  • Suitable for flow rates from 9,000-45,000 litres per hour
  • Perforated support basket to maintain bag filter integrity
  • Height adjustable legs and inlet pressure gauge
  • V-band clamp closure for ease of operation
  • Threaded 2″ BSP inlet and outlet

Very pleased with the service. There was an issue with the water softener I ordered initially, but then following communications made the replacement process quite pleasant. Happily recommend this company. Thanks to Becky for working with me. Great follow up support 😊😊😊

First time using this company and product and i wasnt dissappointed. Communication was easy and quick resulted in an easy order and now having fitted the filter i can say its a great product easy to install and appears good quality apart from the four mild steel bracket screws stainless would have been better considering the environment these are fitted. All in all, very pleased and would highly recommend .

Excellent local company and genuinely lovely people to deal with. Really helpful and knowledgeable, with great advice about my water softener and the correct salt to use. They even gave me some resin cleaner at no charge, which was a very kind gesture. Fantastic friendly service and I’ll definitely be returning for my salt in future. Highly recommended.

Excellent service. Product proved my softener was not working as it should. I fully serviced it and cleaned with Resin Clean returned to service and it is now working as designed. Very pleased.

If you're thinking about a water softener then i HIGHLY recommend Ultra Soft Water Softeners Ltd.

Great softeners and exceptional customer service. The water softener I bought needed some adjustments with the installation setup where I supported throughout. The customer service is honestly next level. I had countless calls with Becky Gillett, the Sales Manager, over a period of months to get to the bottom of it. She was incredibly patient with me, staying on the phone and doing video calls to walk me through the programming instructions step-by-step while I changed the settings and ensured all was installed correctly.

All the staff here have been great, but Becky really stuck with me from start to finish to make sure it was sorted and working well. It runs like a dream now.

HIGHLY recommend them!

Easy to order, quick delivery, good communication. Resclean worked a treat; one treatment cycle and soft water is back again from our 12 yr old softener!
