UK drinking water regulations state that drinking water must have a pH between 6.5 and 9.5 to be safe to drink. Where pH is low and water is acidic it can corrode pipework, picking up harmful metals in the process. pH Correction Filters dose your water with naturally occurring minerals to raise the pH. They are commonly used on private water supplies and as a post filter to an RO system to boost mineral content.
