Our Nitrate Removal Filters contain a specialist ion-exchange resin designed to specifically target nitrates and remove them from your water. Available in an industry standard sized 10” x 2.5” filter cartridge to suit most filter housings, these cartridges are a low-cost solution for nitrates removal at low flow rates. The media and the materials of the filter cartridge are non-toxic and suitable for use in drinking water applications.

Description
Our Nitrate Removal Filters are the preference for low flow (<1L per minute) nitrate removal from water. A filter cartridge-based solution offers a quick to install and low maintenance option for nitrate removal. Each cartridge features filter pads either side of the media to prevent migration, alongside an integrated gasket to create a positive seal with the head of the filter housing. This helps to prevent untreated water from bypassing the cartridge.
The Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) and World Health Organisation (WHO) both recommend that nitrate levels in drinking water do not exceed 50mg per litre. High levels of nitrates in drinking water can reduce the ability of red blood cells to carry oxygen, which can be particularly dangerous for infants.
How Often Do I Need To Replace These Nitrate Removal Filters?
The frequency of filter change will depend on the levels of nitrates in your water and the amount of water you use. Customers with 50mg/l of nitrates can expect approximately 330L of treated water before the filter would need replacing. For further information please refer to the specification tab.
