Inline Granular Carbon filters are commonly used in drinking water systems, both in the home and in the workplace. Often found within water coolers or fridges these popular push-fit cartridges are an easy-to-install solution for improving the taste, odour and appearance of drinking water. Manufactured using WRAS approved Granular Activated Coconut Carbon these inline filters offer high capacity reduction of Chlorine, VOC’s and chemicals. Available with either 3/8” or 1/4″ push fit connections.

Description
Manufactured using the same high quality activated coconut carbon as our cartridge filters, these encapsulated inline filters attach directly to your pipework without the need for a filter housing. This style of filter is popular for customers who want high quality drinking water but have limited space under their sink, such as on a boat or in a caravan. Our Inline Granular Carbon Filters offer improved flow rates and a lower pressure drop compared to carbon block versions, they also have some sediment reduction capacity which helps to prevent premature blinding.
We also offer an Inline Carbon And Scale Control version with added Polyphosphate for limescale prevention. These are recommended for customers in hard water areas where appliances may suffer from limescale damage.
How Often Do I Need To Change These Inline Granular Carbon Filters?
We recommend changing these filters every 6-12 months depending on usage. In the home the filter can last up to 12 months where as in a commercial or office setting the average filter lifespan is 6 months.
