Our Inline Anti Microbial Carbon Filters are an easy to change push fit filter, designed for use in drinking water applications. Carbon filtration is widely used to improve the taste, odour and appearance of your water by removing contaminants like chlorine. They contain the same high quality granular activated carbon (GAC) as many of our other carbon filters, with the added benefit of impregnated silver ions to prevent bacterial growth within the filter.

Description
Inline carbon filters are commonly found in water coolers and on drinking water taps, they are popular thanks to their compact encapsulated design which eliminates the need for a filter housing. Inline filters are generally small, lightweight and easy to install, so are popular for space-sensitive installations such as under sinks, on boats and in caravans.
These Inline Anti Microbial Carbon Filters offer all the benefits of carbon filtration as well as being bacteriostatic, thanks to the impregnated silver ions. This prevents microbes from growing within the filter, which is associated with bad smells and bio-film build up.
How Often Do I Need To Change These Inline Antimicrobial Carbon Filters?
In the home they need to be changed every 12 months, where as in office settings where water usage is higher they need to be changed every 6 months.
