Description
Using a single carbon filtration stage this drinking water system is compact and lightweight without compromising quality. Carbon filters are popular for use in drinking water applications thanks to their ability to remove chlorine, pesticides, hormones, lead, aluminium, PCB’s and THM’s from your water. Within the kit you will find a clear filter housing, wrench, wall bracket, screws, carbon block cartridge and two 15mm push fit connections to suit standard UK pipework.
We use industry standard sized housings to give consumers free choice over the purchase of replacement filters, unlike other systems on the market that use uniquely sized filters tying customers in to buying expensive replacements.
How Often Do I Need To Change The Filter?
In the home the carbon filter needs changing every 12 months, or sooner if you notice a drop off in flow. In office settings with higher water usage the carbon filter needs to be changed every 6 months. Replacement filters are available at a low cost, with changes every 12 months giving an average cost of just £0.03 per day.
