Description

All ion exchange water softeners have four ports: an inlet, outlet, overflow and a drain. The drain port is commonly a 1/2″ or 3/4″ male thread and often requires a drain connector which converts the male thread to a hose barb fitting at a 90⁰ angle – allowing for the drain hose to be securely attached using a jubilee clip. As this part sits right at the back of most water softeners it can easily be damaged when a softener is moved or pulled out for maintenance. Our Water Softener Drain Elbows come with the elbow, nut and a washer to ensure a positive and leak-free seal.
