Our Scale Out Replacement Resin is a ceramic TAC media, designed for salt-free limescale reduction systems. As a popular alternative to traditional salt based ion-exchange water softening, this type of media is becoming increasingly prevalent where homeowners are looking to reduce the impact of hard water on their properties.

We use this media in our own range of Scale Block systems, as well as supplying it in refill packs for a number of other systems. Our long-life TAC media is designed to last up to 3 years in point of entry systems, helping to keep maintenance to a minimum. The media is independently tested up to 99.6% efficiency using German DVGW protocol, the treated water is also perfectly safe to drink.  You can be confident in the quality of our replacement media, which features a whole host of approvals and certifications including WRAS, NSF/ANSI 61 and WQA Gold Seal.

How Often Do I Need To Replace The Resin In My Monarch Scale Out System?
When using our replacement resin, we recommend changing the media once every 3 years.
