Choosing Product Size

We stock bag housings to suit all trade size 1-2 bag filters. Choose a size based on your required flow rate or preferred bag filter size. Upsizing beyond your expected flow rate can extend the life of the filter bag, reducing the frequency of filter changes. An overview of each bag filter trade size can be found below. For filter housing product dimensions, please refer to the measurement table.

Trade Size 1: 430mm Length x 180mm Neck Diameter

PLASTIC BAG FILTER HOUSINGS

To Suit Trade Size 1-2 Bag Filters

Our Plastic Bag Filter Housings are manufactured from a durable UPVC material, offering excellent resistance to various solutions (including acids, alkalis and sea water). Often used as an alternative to stainless steel, these bag housings are lightweight, durable and highly effective at removing bulk particulate from a liquid solution. Available to suit either trade size 1 or trade size 2 industry standard bag filters, which we stock in either polypropylene or nylon across a range of micron ratings (up to 200 micron).

Once installed, the lifespan of the bag filter can easily be checked using the inlet pressure gauge mounted on the top of the housing. When a pressure drop of 1 bar is noticed, the bag filter should be cleaned or replaced as appropriate for your application.

Premium Closure Mechanism
Each housing is supplied with a perforated support basket to maintain the integrity of the bag filter inside and a specialist bag hold-down device which helps to ensure a positive seal and prevent filter bypass. Featuring premium swing bolt closure mechanism for the lid and bolt-down legs these bag filter housings are the engineers choice for dependability and ease of use.

Very pleased with the service. There was an issue with the water softener I ordered initially, but then following communications made the replacement process quite pleasant. Happily recommend this company. Thanks to Becky for working with me. Great follow up support 😊😊😊

First time using this company and product and i wasnt dissappointed. Communication was easy and quick resulted in an easy order and now having fitted the filter i can say its a great product easy to install and appears good quality apart from the four mild steel bracket screws stainless would have been better considering the environment these are fitted. All in all, very pleased and would highly recommend .

Excellent local company and genuinely lovely people to deal with. Really helpful and knowledgeable, with great advice about my water softener and the correct salt to use. They even gave me some resin cleaner at no charge, which was a very kind gesture. Fantastic friendly service and I’ll definitely be returning for my salt in future. Highly recommended.

Excellent service. Product proved my softener was not working as it should. I fully serviced it and cleaned with Resin Clean returned to service and it is now working as designed. Very pleased.

If you're thinking about a water softener then i HIGHLY recommend Ultra Soft Water Softeners Ltd.

Great softeners and exceptional customer service. The water softener I bought needed some adjustments with the installation setup where I supported throughout. The customer service is honestly next level. I had countless calls with Becky Gillett, the Sales Manager, over a period of months to get to the bottom of it. She was incredibly patient with me, staying on the phone and doing video calls to walk me through the programming instructions step-by-step while I changed the settings and ensured all was installed correctly.

All the staff here have been great, but Becky really stuck with me from start to finish to make sure it was sorted and working well. It runs like a dream now.

HIGHLY recommend them!

Easy to order, quick delivery, good communication. Resclean worked a treat; one treatment cycle and soft water is back again from our 12 yr old softener!
