We offer the choice of two LG 4040 RO membranes – BW-4040ES and BW-4040UES. Both of these membranes are designed for brackish water, featuring unique thin film nanocomposite (TFN) technology to offer superior performance with intrinsic anti-fouling properties. These energy saving membranes are compatible with all standard 4″ x 40″ membrane housings, with high permeate flow rates of up to 10,200 litres per day.

ES/UES Energy Saving Membranes

LG’s range of brackish water membranes offers high permeability at low operating pressures. The ultra-low pressure UES version is suitable for low salinity brackish feed water, with the higher pressure ES version suitable for low to medium salinity feed water. The energy-saving properties and unique TFN technology make these membranes an excellent choice for applications where reliability is essential, with significantly lower running costs than traditional membrane alternatives.

LG BW 4040 UES RO Membrane
The LG UES membrane offers an average rejection rate of 99% at pressures as low as 6.9 bar. It is an ‘extra low energy ‘ultra energy saving’ membrane and is a suitable alternative to Oltremare LOW4-4040, Axeon HF4-4040, Hydranautics ESPA4-4040 and Dow/Filmtec XLE-4040.

LG BW 4040 ES RO Membrane
The LG ES membrane offers an average rejection rate of 99.5% at an operating pressure of 10 bar. It is a low energy membrane and is a suitable alternative to Oltremare LOW2-4040, Axeon HF1-4040 and Dow/Filmtec LE-4040.

Communication was easy and quick resulted in an easy order and now having fitted the filter i can say its a great product easy to install and appears good quality apart from the four mild steel bracket screws stainless would have been better considering the environment these are fitted. Great softeners and exceptional customer service. The water softener I bought needed some adjustments with the installation setup where I supported throughout. The customer service is honestly next level. I had countless calls with Becky Gillett, the Sales Manager, over a period of months to get to the bottom of it. She was incredibly patient with me, staying on the phone and doing video calls to walk me through the programming instructions step-by-step while I changed the settings and ensured all was installed correctly.

All the staff here have been great, but Becky really stuck with me from start to finish to make sure it was sorted and working well. It runs like a dream now.
