Our Pure Water Window Cleaning System is an easy-to-use light commercial reverse osmosis system specifically designed for use by pure water cleaning customers. This skid-mounted system features an integrated pump, pre-filters, 4” x 40” (4040) RO membrane, TDS meter and a built-in DI vessel, to deliver up to 180 litres per hour of pure water at 0ppm. The system comes pre-assembled on a powder-coated frame and is rigorously tested in house prior to despatch.

Description

This cleverly built reverse osmosis system is as ‘plug-and-go’ as they come, with a pump and all connections already in place to allow for quick and easy installation. Complete with a 1/2″ barbed hose connection for the inlet and outlet and a 12mm push-fit connection for the drain (2 meters of waste push-fit tubing are supplied with the system).

The 4040 membrane supplied with the system boasts an impressive stabilised rejection rate of 98.5% (so if your feed TDS is 300ppm, you could expect the RO to produce water at as little as 5ppm). The purified water travels straight from the RO membrane into the DI resin vessel, which uses a mixed bed de-ionising resin to polish off any remaining TDS – leaving you with brilliantly pure 0ppm water for that desirable spotless finish. All components used to build this system feature either WRAS or WQA approval.

As with all RO systems the permeate recovery (pure water flow rate) and rejection figures depend on several factors such as feed water quality, temperature and the type of pre-treatment used. If your water hardness is over 100ppm it would be recommended to install a water softener prior to the system to prolong the life of the RO membrane. How Often Do I Need To Replace The Filters In The Pure Water Window Cleaning System?
The answer to this depends greatly on your water quality and how frequently the system is used. As a guide, we would recommend changing the two carbon pre-filters every 6 months and replacing the RO membrane when you notice an increase in TDS after the membrane. The DI resin should be changed when the TDS reading after the DI vessel starts to creep up close to the reading before the DI vessel.
