Our Nylon Bag Filters are an extremely economical way to remove particulate from your water or liquid product. These washable nylon bag filters can be used inside a filter housing, over the neck of an IBC or tied over the end of a pipe. Available in all trade sizes (1 to 4) and in a range of micron ratings from 50-200. Each bag features a flanged polypropylene neck ring for a positive seal when used in a filter housing. Suitable for operating temperatures of up to 160⁰C and flow rates of up to 660 litres per minute.

Description
Nylon Bag Filters are popular for industrial, manufacturing, cosmetics and food and beverage applications thanks to their high flow rates, impressive sediment loading capacity and their suitability for viscous liquids. Each bag has heavy duty stitched seams and a flanged neck ring with handles, to make filter change easier. They can be used as a pre-filter to a cascade of filtration or as a stand alone solution, depending on your application and what you are trying to achieve.
In process applications, it is common for bag filters to be used without a bag filter housing by simply suspending the bag filter over a tank and pouring liquid through or tying it around the neck of a pipe. Providing a cost effective filtration solution for small batch manufacturing such as cosmetics, home brewing and paint production.

How Often Do I Need To Change These Nylon Bag Filters?
Nylon filter bags can be washed and re-used multiple times, however they should be replaced if damaged. It is recommended to change (or thoroughly clean) the filter bag at a differential pressure of 1 bar.
