Our Mini LED UV System is a quick and easy to install UV steriliser designed for feeding a single tap. It is the perfect addition to a small reverse osmosis system, drinking water filter or water cooler – or anywhere that additional UV treatment may be required. The 3/8” push-fit connections and compact design allow for speedy installation in even the tightest of spaces. The Mini LED UV System has been cleverly designed to keep maintenance to a minimum by only operating when flow is detected. This helps to keep running costs down and prolong the life of the LED which can last up to 8 years when used for an hour a day.

Description
UV Systems have been used to sterilise water for decades, thanks to their effectiveness at destroying bacteria and micro-organisms. As technology in UV sterilisation is advancing, we welcome the addition of the Mini LED UV System to our range. Utilising an LED element which produces the correct wavelength of UV light for water treatment, as opposed to a traditional UV lamp which contains trace amounts of mercury. The use of the LED element and smart flow detection technology means this system is extremely economical, using very little electricity and requiring little to no maintenance.
Our Mini LED UV System is suitable for low flow rates, up to 2.5 litres per minute – making it ideal for installation on the feed to a single drinking water tap. It can be wall mounted either horizontally or vertically and features 3/8” push fit connections for the inlet/outlet (compatible with 8mm OD tubing). The internal reactor chamber is manufactured from 304 stainless steel and as such is suitable operating pressures up to 6 Bar.

How Often Do I Need To Replace The LED In The Mini LED UV System?
Thanks to smart flow detection technology, the LED only illuminates when there is flow through the system, which extends LED element life dramatically. If the system is used for 1 hour per day the element would need replacing after 8 years, or if used for 2 hours a day every 4 years and so on. Due to the long service life, most customers replace the complete UV once every 8 years, however replacement LED elements are available from us upon request.
